Typical Nintendo, if they had the intention to make an F-Zero game why choose not make it just because one developer wasnt in a position to do so. Jesus there is more than one developer in the world with the skills to do it justice.

Pity the game never materialised and Nintendo, for whatever reason, decided not to develop it themselves. But at least the series isn't completely dead in Nintendo's eyes, which seemed the case.

Not sure what a new F-Zero game would be like - as in I'm not sure how it'd differ from X/GX apart from in the visuals.

Even online play may not work, as the game's so fast.

It probably would.

I mean motion controls, online play, the gamepad - none of these things really add much to the F-Zero experience. F-Zero GX was already awesome-looking and 60fps.

The game could be in 1080p, but that's the only thing I think you can add.

There are other things I think would be cool, such as a game that let you make your own F-Zero racer, team and vehicle, and race them online, doing something with Miiverse (perhaps downloading ghosts) but that's about it.

This is 2011. Then just let it drift. They should've approached Studio Liverpool staff after Sony shut them in 2012.
