That's fine, but W101 deffo wasn't ?17.86 on Amazon when it was on ShopTo.

I know this for a fact as I made a point of checking before originally posting the ShopTo price in the bargains section of the forum.

In any case, good to see that Amazon got around to price matching - a consumer win all round.

I remember some forumite saying it was good and had lots of game play or something....

Anyway I bought it.

It is a wonderful game, and one of the best this gen.

Takes a while to get into as the tutorial is next to useless, but once it clicks you're in for a treat. Cutscenes are good too, with plenty of self-parody.

What would you say the best control method is for hardcore (ish) play? Please say game pad as I hate the screen.

You should start with stick inputs, however you could feel yourself gravitate towards the screen eventually.

I have no idea what is happening in that video but it looks like fun. Do you really get satisfaction from pulling off multi combos by swiping at the screen as opposed to using buttons?

I went with sticks, but only because I dislike the Wii U gamepad. Try 'em both, you may prefer touch controls.

But I did switch to the Wii U gamepad for the indoor sections, which I swear are impossible with the pro controller.

With Nintendo's current archaic digital distribution methods and digital software prices, that prospect makes the NX an absolute non-starter as far as I'm concerned.

Regards NX patent pics some people on Neo Gaf saying no Disc drive could be Digital only or going back to Cartridges! Or even Memory card storage which seems slightly absurd although possible. Also get the whiff of HD 3DS. Dare I say a Vita with x2 screens.

Good chance it's just one of those project patents which don't end up with an end product too. Putting a screen in the controller would be the kiss of death to NX. Not only would it again inflate costs for no reason, it'd attract comparisons to WiiU which of all things is exactly what NX needs to avoid.

Given that the Wii U already has a screen on the controller, isn't it more likely that this patent is nailing something else down related to the Wii U? A stripped unit with online only, like the PSP Go? As you say, it could be something that is never actually used.
