Yep. It just does not work that well. The waggle is used to beat the floor or blow. Sometimes you need to do it quickly.

It wasn't great, but I did still play through the whole game and it was a lot of fun. There was just no point to the waggling stuff.

Famitsu gave Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush a 34/40 (so 8.5) not an altogether impressive score but it's the same as Captain Toad and New Super Luigi U which were games I enjoyed a lot.

Still annoyed we won't see this game until the end of the year here considering it's out in the US and Japan within the month. Welcome to 2015

I've never played 2 & 3, but tried getting into Prime a good 2-3 times- the scanning just kept putting me off, it felt like such a chore to me.

Prime is one of the best games ever made.

Scanning is so much easier with a Wii remote.

The whole scanning element just seemed to slow the game down for me, might not be worth my re-buying this.

Absolutely superb value. Looks decent enough on HD TV too.

Great value, but it's unplayable on my Optoma projector, looks worse than a ****ty old out of tune CRT through RF - I kid you not! And it initially displays a purple haze (much like Hendrix). Luckily my lounge TV has saved the day...again Why they could't sort out the internal scaling so I can play this on a projector without having to resort to an emulator is beyond me. Mario Galaxy 2 looked like it was covered in a giant fuzzy turd on the PJ too.

But that's how the narrative is delivered. It's no different to speaking to as many NPCs as you can in an RPG.
