Super Mario 3D World should be a priority Dogg. I've seen other posts where you've sort of expressed a bit of disinterest in it as a 3D Land clone, but I really don't feel it is personally. It has the same DNA but it's a sublime 3D platformer in its own right. Do play it a great one to play both solo and with your kids.

I see that a remaster of "Legend of Kay" is coming to the WiiU.

Is it an underrated gem, or something? I remember it back from the PS2 days but I've no idea why it merits a WiiU remaster.

Presumably, as Nintendo is likely to be leaning heavily on it to sell WiiU this Xmas, Kotaku has just done a preview of Xenoblade Chronicles X at 70hrs playtime

I'm still digesting how awful that was. I actually feel sorry for my Wii U. It's an inanimate object and I feel genuine sorrow and pity for it.

The platform isn't even three years old until November and they've basically dumped it. Assuming NX gets announced at next years E3 and arrives the following November then Wii U has 18 months left as Nintendo's home console and these are the games to tide us over? Once Yoshi comes next week I have Zelda (not holding my breath on that one) and (forcing myself on this one) Mario Tennis to look forward to. It's dead, I'm a Dr. I know a terminal case when I see it. They'll just dump cobbled together shovelware like Animal Crossing Party with the sole purpose of selling plastic tat with NFC chips in.

My only hope now is we get a shedload of VC stuff to compensate (Yoshi's Island, Star Fox, Mother 3, Ocarina of Time, MK64) and my Wii U at least lives on as the ultimate Nintendo retro box. There's no way I'm buying an NX after the way they've dumped this console after two and a half years. It'd be better if they'd just never turned up to E3, my opinion of the 3DS as a console isn't high anyway but that 3DS stuff in lieu of Wii U games was insulting.

The problem is we dont no if the NX is actually a home console, could end up being replacement for 3DS. Really wish Nintendo would at least confirm if it is a console or handheld. I know they dont want to have an impact on Wii U but they pretty much nailed the coffin at E3 today.
