The paint I used for my Black DC mod was a gloss paint for plastics while the Black and Silver Dreamcast and Saturn are done with Matt spray for plastics. I find the matt paint to be much better. Sorry I can't tell you what the paint is called, it's completely gone from my head.

i did this kinda thing to one of my old mobile phones a few years ago

u can use car aerosol paints, just remeber to key the surface with about p400 sand paper, use plastic primer then a colour layer or two then laquer

paints are around 5 quid a can and u can pick them up at most car shops like halfords,
