Glad to finally see this announced. Ocarina is one of my favorite games ever but Majora was one of the games that got away from me back in the day as i'd moved onto Dreamcast so im looking forward to finally playing it on 3DS.

Now Nintendo please give Links Awakening the remake treatment ON 3DS in the same vein as A.L.T.T.P/A.L.B.W

Link's Awakening really doesn't need that kind of remake. It doesn't have the depth/scope that other Zelda games have. DX is surely enough, no?

If we're gonna go this route, Nintendo might as well do a "Metroid: Zero Mission" and remake the NES original.

I love the way that 'core Zelda fans try to pretend that ALBW wasn't originally gonna be ALttP 3D.

Disregarding your typical obtuseness (and the fact that ALBW is set in the exact same universe as ALttP, unless you want to argue that? ), it was well known that many fans wanted a remake of ALttP. Nintendo even considered it themselves - Miyamoto-san wanted it but Aonuma-san wasn't keen, apparently.

I trust you can access Google and research it?

I wasn't aware that I had to legally qualify every bloody thing that I write on here. God.

However, it makes more financial sense for less effort and on the 3ds with a bigger instal base. I can't remember what sort of numbers it did on the n64 but is there that much demand for this to come out looking exactly the same?, it wasn't a great looker even then.

Do people really think it'll look the same on the 3DS as it did back then? Chances are it'll get the kind of slight touch-up/remastering that OoT 3D and Starfox 64 3D got.
