Etrian Mystery Dungeon & Etrian Odyssey 5

Atlus announced two new games belonging to the Etrain Odyssey series.
The first is Etrian Odyssey and Mystery Dungeon, where the first person dungeon crawler transforms into...a third person dungeon crawler. Uhm. This is a collaboration with Spike Chunsoft, and will be out in March 2015, for the 3DS.



A more interesting announcement is that of Etrian Odyssey 5, of which only a teaser has been shown. Still no release date or even a platform, though it should be pretty obvious that it will be on the 3DS. Part of me want it to be on the WiiU, though.

Play Asia mistakenly leaked that Etrian Odyssey and Mystery Dungeon will reach US shores, and Atlus confirmed that the game, localised as Etrian Odyssey Mystery Dungeon, will be published during Spring 2015. Happiness.

More details on Mystery Dungeon: there will be a new class called "Furai", which totally looks like Shiren from Shiren the Wanderer (a series born in the Mystery Dungeon line)



There will be new D.O.E monsters, though the difference between them and the usual F.O.E.s has no been revealed yet.
