I just picked up a ps3 and this game was always one I fancied trying despite its mixed reviews. It seems there are now 3 games available for ps3 though, so I was hoping someone would be kind enough to run through the differences or give a recommendation. Do they follow on from each other? Are they all playable in English on a pal ps3? Cheers

They do follow on from each other. They have Japanese, American and European releases so yes you can play them in English on a PAL PS3.
The first game has a massive flaw in that you're unable to control the healing. As far as video games go they're bad games, but even fans say to read the story of the first game and move on to 2nd and then Victory. -

Personally I couldn't stand it. I thought it was a very poor game that was carried by gimmicks, namely the story (how the characters are all personifications of game consoles and the in-jokes that come from that) and the incredibly buxom, all-female cast.
I had similar feelings about Senran Kagura.
I mean I'm no prude, I have no issues with games having borderline erotic content (I've played too much Dead or Alive over the years to claim otherwise) but Hyperdimension Neptunia didn't seem to have anything else going for it.
I can only assume it must get better with sequels.Comment
