Forza Horizon 2 is perfect mix to me, micro-transactions will never go away now. FH2 had loads of content (and cars) in the game itself, optional car pack DLC's available but not necessary at all and the extra Island gameplay DLC although sixteen quid gave me more than enough hours fun to justify the outlay.

Hillclimbs in Pikes Peak cars would be great in any game, good shout nonny.

Seems Xbox Japan has revealed some more details of the game ahead of its E3 reveal:

-1080p at 60fps
-450 Cars with full working cockpit views and realistic damage modelling
-26 locations including Rio and Daytona
-Night time racing
-Wet weather including 3d modelled puddles
-2 player split screen
-24 player racers
-Drivatars return

Gran Turismo showed a number six done very well is possible as that game in my opinion is almost perfect

At last we get dynamic weather . This gen is shaping up to the best ever for driving sims imo

Saw a vid of Drive Club, the ground was wet through but cars were driving 'over' puddles Jesus style without making a splash.

I've always liked the look of Forza games but have never owned an Xbox.
I hope for a superior PS4 version (lol).
I presume they'll stay uniquely Xboxy.

This is an issue all racing games I've played have. None seem to have any effect on the water. It was one of my biggest peeves about Horizon 2. Racing through a puddle and seeing it splash up the sides of the car will be excellent.
