Best not. I'm sure that the likes of Strider and endo will be up to tell me that it has no similarity whatsoever to Hang-On because, y'know, that Turbo Boost function makes it a completely different game and all.

Because it's better than arcade perfect, **** the Megadrive.

The gyro controls add a whole new dimension in sensitivity which the slider simply cannot achieve, and with the tilting cab mode you find yourself leaning left and right to match the game screen. The sense of speed is truly exhilarating, especially as you're tapping every last bit out of the turbo around bends. When you hit something and fly off you can virtually feel the release as you revert the unit (and your body!) back to neutral and go "****!!", before revving up and setting off again...

It's two quid. If you come back on here and you don't like it I'll ****ing reimburse you myself.

It's still showing as being on sale (as are all the other sega 3D games) and it's just let me download Space Harrier and Galaxy Force but when I go the get SOR the download button is greyed out!!

Any ideas folks??

I'm not generally a fan of gyro controls or racing games on handhelds, yet Super Hang On is indeed brilliant. Top recommendation Dave. It's so good I picked up Out Run too. Again, pure class. Best versions of these games since the arcade originals.

I went for OutRun in the end; it's really weird at such a smooth frame-rate in 3D. Fun though.

You can unlock the original 30fps version and play it that way if you'd prefer.
