Activision and Treyarch have revealed the PC requirements for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, the information being disclose…

Treyarch has said of the main three formats that they're not porting from one format to the others, but instead are crafting the game for all three formats. As such, they've released the PC spec requirements for the title. If PS3, 360 or WiiU versions exist, they aren't being announced at this time and would come about from Activision outsourcing them to another studio as Treyarch has confirmed they personally aren't working on anything for last gen.

my biggest complain is what's the point in having 2 CoD brands if both feel identical? BO3 is such a wasted opportunity to introduce a long overdue fresh take on the series. a slower, more tactical warfare approach would be much appreciated.

highly improbable, we all know publishers are far too greedy. the development of the last gen versions will be done by another studio i suppose.

Yup. This will be the 5th modern/advanced/future warfare in a row now. They don't even feel like they deserve COD in their title because they don't feel like a COD game anymore.

We have had plenty of other future fps's as it is.

We really have seen it all before, haven't we? I love a FPS, but it's going to need something genuinely innovative to get me to buy another, and this isn't it.

Is anyone really surprised? This series has been in decline for years.

well, i am surprised that while a big majority of fans feel the franchise needs a refresh, quite apparently Activison does not.

I'm waiting for the obligatory "pre-orders are down" spiel that we got last year.

I'm not surprised at all mate. For yrs now Activision have become what EA used to be - a publisher that is more than happy to pump out the same old thing yr after yr with little effort made.

I think that a lot of people were hoping that Trey would be the one to save the series as they've always produced something great each time. I saw a recent interview with the actor who does the voice for Woods & he was saying that they've worked so hard to get this game to be perfect, & have listened to si much that the fans have said. I think the only fans that they've listened to are the ones who are below the legal age to play these games coz most people wanted a change from the future based warfare. Only kids will lap up this future stuff again.

I don't want it fail. I really don't. I want them to drag this series out of the grave, but taking ideas from AW, Titanfall & Destiny is going the wrong way about it.

right Eddie, it's kind of sad to see Activision milking the franchise to a slow death whereas a longer breaker of maybe 2 to 3 years would be needed to come up with something genuinely new and fresh. does a good FPS really need perks and jumppacks? i don't think so. maybe it's about time go back to the basics and focus on slow tactical combat, learning to use your environment, smarter enemy and friendly AI. something like the first Ghost Recon games but much better.

Treyarch has confirmed that the PC version will use dedicated servers. Presumably this suggest the console versions, again, won't

Maybe Sony have dug deep due to the lack of first party titles this year in an attempt to steal some punters.

Maybe Microsoft just wised-up and realized paying for this one month's DLC exclusivity is a mugs' game, especially for a franchise that appears to be losing momentum.

Aye that sounds about right. DLC for COD games is always the same old ****e anyway, with boring lazy creativeless maps which always disappoint
