E3 2015 General Discussion

Okay, bear with me. It's very early to be looking with any real intent at E3 but stuff like this will crop up as gossip and rumour starts, especially with so many folk wanting to see the current consoles finally unleash content.

So, for now this thread can be for anything related to E3 that doesn't have it's own dedicated thread yet and for general related discussion.

Just confirmed is that for the first time Bethesda is to hold it's own presentation at E3. There's no details as to why, but presumably it's to have a larger presence in their projects as a publisher and to announce something. Given the epic wait we've all had, speculation is already mounting that a Fallout 4 reveal could be in the wings.

Not sure if I'll be watching this year. 2014 was a massive improvement on the awful 2013, but Nintendo's bit was still the most entertaining and that wasn't even live.

I don't think I stayed up last year, the presentations go on too long and there's never the big wow's wanted. Easier to wake up to everything gathered in one post, only way I'll keep track is if they're at a reasonable time

Very eager to see Fallout 4 if it's coming though. Bethesda have taken far too long with it

Not as yet but I'd imagine they'd be scattered between the 13th and 15th June

Stayed up for the Sony one but dunno if I will this year.

Then again I might take the week off (have loads of holiday to take) and watch them all.

Square is putting the feelers out for indie's takes on how they could revive the Anachronox, Gex and Fear Effect franchises

They could leave two of them alone, and make a sequel to the third one.

Fear Effect had a lot going for it, in the first game. I kinda felt they ****-the-bed a bit with the second one though.

The first one had a female protagonist who was lesbian, but that didn't factor into the story in any real way; it was just the way she was (it wasn't a romantic comedy after all). She was a badass too.

Presumably some executive meddling went into the second one, as they brought in a second female character, lesbian sex scenes and clumsily-illustrated cleavage on the front cover.

Microsoft has also confirmed that Forza Motorsport 6 will be showing a gameplay reveal at E3, less surprisingly it's out this Xmas

Seems daft they'd be proud of that. I mean I know they have to start drumming up the hype, but that's what I expect of them as a minimum.

It's like Lady Gaga saying she's going to sing several songs at her next concert. That's great, but it's kinda par for the course.

Would love to hear Nintendo announce a new 1080 and WaveRace at E3. At least 1080.
