Dragonball Z: Xenoverse - any reviews yet?

Been looking around online, as apparently this is out - but I can't see any reviews.

I love the concept of it (basically Dragonball self-insert-fanfiction: THE GAME) but I've yet to hear much else, and in my experience the Dragonball games are tremendously variable in terms of quality (I don't think they've managed to better Budokai 2/3 yet in honesty).

Got to be honest i am not that keen on it at all was expecting a lot more from the story and was expecting much better combat but just feels like it descends into button mashing and the combo list is really a joke i think anyone could guess the combos as its just two attack buttons.

Damn that's a shame, I was looking forward to this as well. I might just hold off until it's on sale.

ahh its still fun to a degree but only recent dragonball games i have played were demos and this does not feel much different also has some really bad camera and fighting against multiple enemies can be annoying

Glad I decided to wait for reviews; reactions seem very mixed.

No-one has yet answered my main questions about it though - basically I need a review by someone who knows their stuff, who finishes this sentence:

"I've played Dragonball Z Budokai 3 and I think..."

funny thing is i have played budokai 3 but its been so long ago.....but from what i remember budokai 3 is the better game but still only early days with xenoverse anyway hopefully it will pick up. Playing it further year still nowhere near as good as i hoped

the thing that really killed it for me was they hyped it as What ifs? different things happening and really does not feel like that at all everything plays out the same just you interact but characters hardly acknowledge you are there and so far it feels the same but not in as great a depth as previous games

Did anyone here get this on PS3?

I'm thinking of getting it, but I'm told the multiplayer is a big feature and I'm worried it's DOA online.

The Steam version is likely a safer bet but I don't want to get that as I can't sell it after a couple of months.

EDIT: That and it's ?40 on Steam, which at ?5 more than the PS3 boxed product can **** right off.
