    Prequel, apparently.

Which basically makes it RTCW (I think). lol

If it can maintain even 10% of MK8's player numbers it'll do alright. They seem to have a large marketing push behind it as well.

The mitigating factor is that so few online games (or games in general) come out on the WiiU. So the player base won't be instantly diluted by the release of whatever game the next week.

I've found Mario Kart to be enduring online whatever platform it's released on.

And it depends on what they class as good numbers. If it is a great game it will have a persistent player base as it offers something different and new. It will never have COD numbers but it doesn't need to. There will still be people playing it for months.

That's probably what makes the apprehension settle in, CoD on WiiU couldn't maintain its figures despite being in a better position to do so. Splatoon will have to be really compelling for people to stick with beyond the launch window. It's exactly the kind of game Nintendo needs to be making, they just seem to have done it with the worst timing.

Actually might have made a cool Wii game with remote aiming

It has a RRP of ?14.99 too Colin, not sure if it's digital only or is getting a physical release.

EDIT, just checked and digital only for Xbox One and digital and physical for PS4 & PC

Not keen on the One missing out on physical versions of this, Tomb Raider Osiris etc.

I really fancy Witcher 3 and have been looking forward to it but after Dragon Age Inq and now Bloodborne I'm feeling a bit saturated with fantasy RPGs. Might sit out the month and cleanse palate with some cheap indies, like Shovel Knight and Axiom Verge.

All I care about in May is Project Cars, nothing else matters.

I just hope it lives up to the hype. But considering the hype is better than both Forza, Gran Turismo and R Factor, it's quite a task!

And if it doesn't live up to the hype you can always just fall back on Racing Lagoon.

Never heard of that game before, it's actually pulling off some quite impressive visual effects for PSone. Not convinced by the control though!

                            Yeah, it's an RPG too!

Okay, to eBay we go. I love old 3D Polygon racers.

I absolutely love it. Control is certainly a little weird. You can feel the wheels moving. However I've no issues and the drifting works well. My car is up to 285ps and still controls well.
