I actually prefer the original game there if I'm honest.
The overly dark nature of the remaster doesn't help.

The extra detail is nice but I really don't think it's that much better.
Would be interested to see more of the levels later in the game though.

Totally agree, the extra detail is nice but what's with the need to make it darker? Your going to change the tone of the game doing things like that.

Yeah it's almost like "here's all the extra detail we can do with the better hardware available now, but you won't be able to see it because we'll make it super dark as well"

I'm hoping it will only be that section & the rest won't be as bad but at the moment I'm less than impressed

The video doesn't look as dark. Looks similar to the original but with better lighting.

I'm all for this if the multiplayer has dedicated servers. I've been getting into co-op lately and this was always great for it. I'm hoping this isn't just the first game and like the Halo MCC they can add other titles in the series to it at a later date via DLC.

Tried the beta and it confirmed I won't be bothering with the mp, felt really basic and dated. The game is spruced up but doesn't wow, decent job but not paying loads for it

It's not too bad with the others coming later on but given the timeframe they've given it'd probably work out better to see if it drops in price by Xmas and get them even cheaper.
