It'll be infinitely replayable for me simply by dint of not having Bayonetta in it, who got right on my tits.

Game look stunning, and that's from someone who has no ties to Transformers as a kid!

And couldn't agree more with this -

Mike Matei from Cinemassacre really like the game as a fan and as a gamer. Got high hopes. Not as hyped as you other guys but I'm sure I'll enjoy this one!

What, if anything, will the PS4 version have over the PS3? I would imagine the PS3 should be able to pull the game off ok?

I can't take anyone seriously who won't delve into such a rich game system because of dislike for an avatar. It's just far too good a game system to turn down for such a petty reasoning.

It's like dismissing Sega Rally because there are no red cars.

I couldn't give two ****s about Transformers; I never had the toys or watched the cartoons, but I'm still getting this.

Funny you should say avatar, I've never seen that film either as I find it hugely visually unappealing. It's like I wouldn't sleep with a woman I found horrendously unattractive, no matter how good she might be in bed.

That depends on what you're into. I'm the same as you, but I know tons of guys who swear by sex with fat bards. That doesn't mean that they turn fit birds down, it just means that they are more interested in the sex itself other than the person.

When it comes to games I'm into the shagging. I don't give a **** about the graphics or the characters.

I quite like Bayonetta the game, didnt care for the character, and have never slept with a fat bard. Don't know where that places me.

EDIT: Probably best just to move on and not de-rail

I'm going into this under the full impression it will be a fairly straight forward side project for Platinum, anything better being a plus. Adore the focus on G1 and visual approach though, sheer fan service. Hopefully it does well and pushes forward a fleshed out sequel if this turns out to be a bit simple.

Early buzz on gaf seems to be that this is decent. It seems to have some 2.5D levels also:

                              First review I've seen:

Basically the man says: good if not ground-breaking combat and good variety of enemy styles, exceedingly short campaign (4-5 hours), awful platforming and finicky driving sections, decent weapon customization options and variety for loot junkies, disappointing lack of variety of environments (mostly the same 10 blocks of cityscape). Unfortunately now sounding more like a cut-price snack than a full banquet, to me.

Yeah same for me, I guess though in a few weeks when some of the big hitters come out Halo, CoD, Tomb Raider etc we might see a price cut for this. I can wait a little-bit longer for that length of campaign.

Even with the amount of cut and paste levels he talks about I still think it looks fantastic.
