    Horizons Gaming 2015

Think of this as being along the same line as the monthly Anticipating threads I used to do but without the polling. In the run up and during E3 I've been keeping track of the games mentioned and announced to try and track ahead what I might want to buy and budget for. What I end up with each year is a rough list of the games on the horizon and I thought it might be useful to some to this year post it on the forum and maybe have a good old chinwag about what we missed at the show, what didn't attend and what we're planning to buy.

First some key notes about the list:

-I've put the list in release date order. However, the list isn't definitive and release dates are rough placements as they vary per region and move about.
-The Vita isn't present, it had no real info from E3 so I didn't bother tracking it. Also missing is annual sports titles, steam indies etc
-There may be specific titles you're looking forward to missing also, feel free to give them a shout out.

Jesus that is a huge list, better not look at this page when my mrs is looking. Just toting up all the games on that list i am planning to buy and its like ?900, just for the rest of this year, yikes.

BTW i didnt think No Man's Sky is scheduled for this year, no date has yet been mentioned.

Going by that list, unless I buy another console, I'll only be buying one more new game in 2015.

Well I now have, minimum, a game a month to settle me into new year.

        Batman Arkham Knight
        PGA Tour
        Rare Replay
        Phantom Pain
        Halo 5
        Rise of the Tomb Raider
        Hitman

That's not even including ALL the digital only games.
More than happy with that to be honest, no doubt I'll probably buy about 50 games.

Plus either FIFA or PES in September.

Not going to bother with 2016 titles for now.

Only Tomb Raider from that list...other than a few Vita games, the rest of the year is going to be cheap!

That is a mouth watering list of great games!

I only have a PS4 but some of those games make me want to pick up a Wii U, Xbox One and a gaming PC. Really interested in Wolly World, Uncharted 4, Batman: Arkham Knight, Gears of War, Forza 6, Tony Hawks Pro 5, Devil's Third, MGSV, Mad Max, Uncharted Collection, Rainbow Six, Tomb Raider, No Mans Sky and more than a few others.

I've noticed more and more posters on here moaning about games, criticising release schedules and making hyperbolic statements with no grounding in reality whatsoever. I know, welcome to the internet! But if they don't find something that tickles their fancy in the 2015 release list then I don't think there's any hope for them.

I think I missed RB4 because there wae little on it over E3 which is quite curious

true, there was a bit on the ps blog with harmonix , but not much coverage, me i cant wait to get into Rock Band again to be honest.
its my most wanted this year.

Metal Gear Solid V for me.

And I might give Need for Speed a chance too. Underground is one of my favourite racers ever and while this seems more like Underground 2 which was less refined, the car customisation kinda blew me away. Also considering that the NFS team didn't release a game last year, you might think of it as them putting 2 years into this game, instead of just one as usual.

NFS looked stunning at E3 but I can imagine playing it to be a bit of a nightmare if it is all night races with puddle reflections blinding you everytime you turn a corner.

Is your TV too big or something? You were complaining about textures in the PS3 copy of DmC too.

Seriously, Supes. This forum is going to be shell of its current self when you can't post new topics any more!
Thank you for your endless contributions, you rock.

As for the topic in hand, I'm only really looking to that Transformers game, but things would change if I ever upgraded to a current gen console.
