Quite a neat idea, will this technology kick off the Smartphone as a preference to portable consoles?

Certainly one of the better designs, especially with the shoulder buttons too.

pick your phone up and try and get your thumbs in a comfortable position on the back while looking at your phone screen
how do we use this??? fingers on the sticks, thumbs on the triggers? what a stupid idea.

Thumbs on touchscreen and first fingers on shoulder and second fingers back buttons was my thinking. Doesn't feel too weird.

You dont use thumbsticks with your fingers though that's the problem here. The whole point of a pad add on for a phone is to give you that portable gaming feel, and tactile feedback that a touch screen fails to do, this just creates more problems.
