The people behind Project Cars are making a Red Bull Air Race game.

Slightly Mad Studios is developing the game for Today Wing Racers Sports Games. It's designed to tie into the Red Bull Air Race World Championship.

Red Bull Air Race - The Game is due out 2016 exclusively for PC. It includes races set in real world locations with the real pilots of the series.

Looks beautiful with their graphics engine.

Although the only concern should be that when the cars in Project CARS left the ground, that's when the physics simulation got a bit flustered. It'll be interesting to see how their physics engine stacks up!

This makes a lot of sense. Dogfighting games are a bit limited in my opinion (random maneuvers etc.) but this looks like a good skill based game.
