Game developer Gun Media is rather brilliantly working on a multiplayer multiformat title based on the ongoing horror franchise. Playing like a spin on Evolve, the game sees 7 players control teenagers stuck at Camp Crystal Lake whilst an 8th player controls Jason Vorhees himself, trying to hunt and kill the cliched teeny boppers.
The originals director and composer are on board whilst Kane Hodder is motion capturing Jason. As is the way these days there is also a Kickstarter campaign for the game which is aimed at funding additional developments that take the game beyond the concept it started out as when it wasn't a licensed title possibly including more SP content.
