Anticipating 2016: The Big 50 Games

2016 looks to be a fairly big one for major releases following two years that have had a fairly steady rate of disappointments for me.

Above is a list of the 50 big games coming or (logic would predict) expected to arrive in the coming year.

What games are you looking forward to, hoping to see announced and why?

Not that many for me, though I'll add Etrian Odyssey 5, Fire Emblem Fates, Blazblue Central Fiction, theorically the new Zelda, and Hopefully Homeworld Shipbreakers. Maybe Cuphead will make me buy a XBO, if Natsune Chronicles doesn't emerge from limbo

The current gen is starting to hit its stride now.
I'm looking forward to Dishonored 2, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and the new Mirror's Edge.

There's not much to get me excited just looking at the list, but when I read more about the games and see screenshots and impressions I'll get more excited.

I've still not upgraded and don't think I will any time soon, so I feel a shyster getting involved, but I'm interested in how some of these games will turn out.

I've just finished and enjoyed Deus Ex: Human Revolution, so I'm curious about that. It looks gorgeous in the promo pics.

I'm curious how the console-exclusive titles will be received. It's crunch time for Microsoft to start releasing some platform-exclusive titles as consumers start looking into getting a second console.

No Man's Sky looks impressive, but I'm concerned it'll end up as thrilling as endlessly flying around a M?bius strip.
There needs to be something to do in these randomly generated planets.
A walk through the woods is nice and all, but when you discover a secret underground bunker, things start getting exciting!

Forza Horizon 2 was the only reason I got an xbone so if they do a Horizon 3 I will be there like big bear!!

I still havnt finished 2 even 0_o.

Oh, I forgot to say I think Gravity Rush 2 looks interesting.

I don't have a Vita, so the original passed me by. Looks like it reviewed well, though.

I like the idea of using the processing oomph for manipulating on-screen items, rather than just more shiny shiny.

We'll be joining the PS4 ranks this Xmas (currently waiting to see if any decent bundles pop up) so I have a few things to look forward to once I've caught up on games I have missed thus far.

Nier Automata has especially got my interest!

Nothing for me, GT Sport at first appeared interesting but it's geared more for online - will wait and see what it's like though.

No Man's Sky, Yakuza 6 and SMT#FE, although I guess I should have added Star Fox Zero too.
Otherwise, not much else on any console. Hopefully I can get GTAV at a heavy discount digitally soon...
