I've probably got this wrong but I thought I read a while back that Nintendo were discontinuing the 2DS, unless they've done a U turn?

My lad has a 2DS and the form factor feels surprisingly good on them and they're immortal!

pre-ordered a yellow one, I fancy going through yellow again. Do you think they'll have patched out the guy in saffron(?) city that you visit when you've caught all 150 Pokemon to get them printed via the gameboy printer?

I think these are a slightly new model, in that there's a new colour variant and they have coloured buttons like the New-3DS, though I think those are the only changes.

I've never held one, but people have said to me in the past that they're surprisingly good to use.
