Very vague thanks to late in gen updates and MS's general vagueness on figures but I did some googling and it does indeed appear to be the case that in the UK the Xbox One outsold the Xbox 360 Likely only by about half a mill but it seems like the gap between UK sales of XBox One and PS3 were very narrow so if that's true it would suggest Switch should overtake PS3 very, very soon and will be sitting on approx 4.9m units sold here

According to the Twitter thread associated with that tweet, that's not the case. Someone asks the OP if he meant 360, rather than Bone, and he responds:
Shame he doesn't provide any figures, although as the head of Gamesindustry.biz I would assume he knows what he's talking about? *shrug*
Surprised that the Bone sold so much here.

I wish MS wasn't so coy about the figures, the one I can see is 3.9m as of 2009 but that's still missing several years of late life sales. For Xbox One the one I found was 4.8m by 2019 so yeah, a bigger window meaning X360 could well be beyond it though if these figures are remotely accurate then I can't imagine 360 is that far off PS3's level. I doubt XBO sold beyond its figure given it was pretty much off the shelves in 2020.
Sadly, there's a wiki page for this but it's epically out of date.
