A question about the story in Virtua FIghter...

From memory of VF4 manual and a REALLY old CVG article....

1st - Lau
2nd - not sure
3rd - Kage

VF does have a story! It's just that they refuse to put it anywhere apart from the manual.

The story of the Virtua Fighter series is mostly in the manuals.

Here are the winners of the first three games:
VF1: Lau
VF2: Akira
VF3: Kage

The story of Virtua Fighter follows the results of the 1st national tournament each time. The winning player's character will be the tournament winner within the story - the way Sega link the game to the players is wicked!

Yep me old man saurs got it right there as far as I remember:
VF1 :Lau player wins , so Lau wins in storyline
VF2: Akira
VF3:Kage

Now here's where it gets a bit weird cause in VF4 a Jacky player won the first national tourni

and then for VF4 evolution an Akira player won

Now seeing as VF4 and Evo are the bassically the same timeline/game, evo upgraded version, I guess it's up to AM2 to decide who won the 4th VF championship,

My monies on Akira though
