A video encoder seems to be a lot of the cost for CMVS... but when the hardware outputs RGB natively that's a holdover from American designs.

because Saturn controllers kick arse and dare I say better than Neo CD pads. Also, you now have access to the awesome Sega arcade sticks.

This thing is £200 just for the Supergun and casing minus the 1-slot. Time you add that in, plus a Unibios, plus various shipping costs, it's getting mighty pricey.

There are far better routes to go down I think.
Mine was less that 200 and came with the MVS board and Uni Bios included. I doubt the seller is now selling just the electronics and case minus the MVS board for 200 dollars. That's nuts. Last I heard the seller is waiting on more MVS boards to arrive.

It's £199.06 for just the case with EMS delivery. That is indeed nuts.

I'd just buy a pair of AES sticks personally, because >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Saturn sticks.

AES sticks aren't even all that, but they are genuine I guess. I got rid of mine and just converted other, decent sticks e.g. Dreamcast or Hori, which is dead easy if you have an AES stick extension cable.

Saturn pad is the most overrated controller of all time tbf. I'd just get a 1L6B stick and leave it at that.

I’m sure it must still be cheaper to consolize a 2-slot... all you need to add is a 5v PSU, RGB Scart and a paint job. The BIOS is socketed and they have built-in controller ports and memory card reader.

One slot for Garou, one for Last Blade 2

Yes, a 2-slot isn’t exactly small, but it’s possible to make them look quite decent.

I wasn't brave enough to post this first, but I'll die defending you!

MV4-FT2 with MV-IC and 2x MV-LED fitted under the case FTW.

Aren't the 4 slot boards super unreliable?

Adding a second board layer in there certainly doesn’t help with reliability... maybe it’s ok if you’re confident with this sort of thing and don’t mind trouble shooting. The 2-slots are a nice simple single layer board, perfect if it’s your first time doing this sort of thing.
