IGN also gave Deadly Premonition 2.0.
IGN showing off that they have no taste with those scores.

Really? Didn't know that. Stopped browsing the site well before Deadly Premonition was first published.

Aye here we go, if you want a laugh.

Awful in nearly every way. The Twin Peaks meets Resident Evil with a dash of Grand Theft Auto formula sounds pretty great, but it was well beyond the capabilities of this development team. Terrible controls. Terrible pacing. Terrible sound effects. Terrible visuals. Maybe you can convince yourself that these things don't matter as you work through this surreal and quirky storyline. The rest of us will be off playing better videogames.
What’s even funnier is the Directors Cut review got 7.0.
I know it’s different people reviewing but still.

Both pretty much got panned but I loved both of them. I got the full 1000 achievement points on the 3D version which required about 4 playthroughs.
Bionic Commando was good, the controls were really hard but it felt pretty awesome when you mastered the swinging

Sneaky Snakes on the Game Boy. Total! gave it 30-something % but I loved it anyway.

So many so will post glimpses.

Quantum Theory on 360. Censored Pal version to accommodate The Germans.

Had fun, it was a very fun game. Gears clone and not as genius but why the hate, I thought?

Ninja Blade GREAT call. People bitchin about QTEs, get real. Total fun game and its been like £1.98 since it went preowned back in the day.

Mad Doctor. C64. It was the GTA of its day but it got like 2/10 reviews. It was like a Dr Frankenstein/serial killer simulator where you had a relatively open world. You could either kill living people or rob graves to get body parts (rot vs fresh mattered) and you could stun and lock live victims in your basement cell and kill them behind the bars with no recourse.

Yeah. It was an ANIMAL of a game.

I remember having this issue and being amazed by the Mac Cube.
This isn't the review I remember; the review I recall was a half-page, probably for the Dreamcast version?

I was hoping to see Vampyr in this thread. I'll pick it up when it goes down in price and hope all the negative stuff was wrong

I'm going to say Star Fox Zero; yes the controls are very odd, but they clicked with me after a couple of hours play and I've genuinely had a lot of fun with the game. Don't get me wrong, I would have preferred standard controls, but it's still one of the best titles on the Wii U in my humble opinion.
