Lol game have already knocked a tenner off the price, looks like they will have a surplus that they will struggle to shift we will see just how bad by how low they get that price down.

I’d not have bought it if I knew that, but Nin-Nin don’t do returns. I played it for five minutes, and then put it away. Hopefully it gets hacked sharpish, otherwide I’ll put it in my games room for ants with my other minis.

It’s a lovely package TBH. More inline with PSVR packaging, but I dig it. The console itself is pretty swish. The controllers feel a bit cheaper than the OG ones though. The plugs really should have had memory cards built-in for better aesthetics too.

Hopefully it can be hacked down down the line. Scanlines are deffo needed for me. Full-screen would be nice too. The OS is far too basic. Sony really cheaped out on it I think. Dual Shock controllers couldn’t have added that much more to the retail cost surely? Why they didn’t have it connect to a custom PSN for PS1 games is beyond me too. I’d have paid £150-£200 for something like that, and it would really have shaken up the whole mini console scene IMO.

The actual physical look of the thing is fine, it just seems like they have cheaped out in every possible way in how it actually works. The fact that it's simply PCSX running on it is kinda sad, and the 50hz thing further shows a real lack of care. Whatever to licensing or language issues, they should have made sure the machine was able to cast the games in their best possible light.

It's a shame because, as someone else said, a key reason the Nintendo ones exploded in popularity is because they're actually really well executed.
