I'm tired of this kind of trailer, both in movies and games.

There's a gameplay trailer coming out tomorrow though so let's see what that's like.

Looks more like a linear action game than an RPG. I don't think it's for me, but I'm sure it will have its fans.

Really? You sure it's not some kind of linear set up intro?

Looks good, was hoping it was going to be a big RPG.

Could be to be fair. Just didn't feel very RPGish from what I could see. It's being billed as a single-character action-RPG plus entourage at RPS:

The first 45 minutes of Dragon Age: The Veilguard feel as much like Mass Effect 2 as Inquisition | Rock Paper Shotgun

What is point in a party if you have no control over them, looked all the way through that video and not once did they command the party to do anything in battle, and in that the combat looked tame, like they haven't moved on from DA3 slide into place on the floor and in the air to hit the enemies. At least they seem to be keeping the elemental magic in, and not treating it like the boring crap SE did in FF16.

I'm not expecting anything great from modern Bioware, they've been poor for over a decade.

The destruction of the Dragon Age franchise is complete

Can't say I'm particularly interested in a Dragon Age Action RPG any more than I was interested in an Action RPG Final Fantasy 16 - but will see how it ends up when it's closer to release.

I want it like origins. As does everybody.

I read that it's like a melee Mass Effect, as I never clicked with the first three that's what's retaining my interest

No one wants a game like Baldur's Gate 3 in this day and age - it'll never sell well over ten million copies.
