Borderlands: GOTY edition

This is out today for the Xbox One (and possibly other systems but I haven’t looked) and includes all the DLC for £24.99.

I loved this when it first came out. Got all 1750G (and damn the Mad Moxxi stuff was EVIL).

Sooooooooo tempted to buy.

Saw that this is a free upgrade to the regular game on Steam. That’s nice at least

So, you want to hear a story, eh?

The tale beings right here, on Bordersdown, where a game discussion morphs into a first play thread. And nobody can do anything about it! Apart from Charles and the mods that is. But no matter.

The game boots up. The music begins. Claptrap is lying there. And I am taken back to a time of wonder and glory. I cannot help but smile. I got all the G (1750) from the original release (not that I care for such trivialities) so you you know that my opinion on this is more valid than yours.

i play. I smile. I get an invite to a party from my friend in Oz who has had the good taste to buy this (and has insomnia). We play co-op. We laugh. We reminisce. We kick arse.

I am happy. I drink wine now.
