Strikers 2020 - Consoles/Arcade

City Connection (who own the Psikyo IP) have announced a brand new entry in the Strikers shoot ’em up series with STRIKERS 2020 coming to multiple platforms including consoles and arcade. STRIKERS 1945 and STRIKERS 1945 II have already released for Switch with STRIKERS 1999 planned for August. Many thanks to Naruki and 4Gamer.

Hopefully another good entry in the Strikers series.

Wow, that’s a surprise, especially the arcade part. Let’s hope it doesn’t suck.

They don’t even have a developer for this game yet. But they they do have ZeroDiv which is staffed with some ex Psikyo peeps so fingers crossed.

They are aiming for a 2020 window apparently, Takayuki Harakami of Zerodiv said a 2021 release "would be bad" and he doesn't want to have fans wait for it.

I'd imagine that exa-Arcadia are in on the arcade side of things?

You would think so but I’m sure I read they had enough shmups at present. At this rate Strikers 2020 might launch before the Exa system.
