I wish there were more numbers from MS about Game Pass and how it's doing. There's a little that's out there suggests Gears 5 performed well on the service in terms of player numbers but at retail suffered a large collapse in sales as a result. Given the many ways in which people can pick up subs for free or as little as a dollar there's a large amount of room there for the game to have been a financial disaster compared to its predecessors as subbing to Game Pass in no way guarantees a heavy increase in long term MTX sales or profit for individual titles when many others are added on a rolling basis. Still very curious as to how it's going to be financially viable overall.

Lonely Mountains Downhill

I stumbled into this one last night and it's a surprise treat. Has that Trials 'die a lot', one more go vibe but in a more casual game. Won't last forever but very enjoyable and fairly unique little game I thought.

I enjoyed Train Sim, I like how the trans pennine is a recreation of 1980s BR with everything being run down and knackered. On the big steep hill towards, Leeds, I was flat out on the throttle and it was just getting louder, not faster
