Prince of Persia

Should i buy prince of persia for ?17.99 or wait for the xbox or gc versions? anybody know whether they are much better than the PS2 one??

I have just got the US Gamecube version of this quality game and it seems to run smoother and look better than the PAL PS2 version. It also has much shorter loading times and I prefer the GC pad so I'd say import.
Saying that if you haven't got an import machine then ?18 is a very good price for the PAL one.

Also, bear in mind that if you're looking at the ?17.99 from Play price, they have sold out now in any case.

I don't think there's much in it between versions tbh - I went for the XBox version, purely for the extras - both Pop & PoP2 are unlockable - I'm not sure they're both on the other versions.

I think the Gamecube version has the unlockables too, but you probably have to use that annoying GBA link thing.

Anyone else on this forum who really didn't like the game much? (Apologies if this is going a little OT.)
