More speculation at the moment but there seems to be a growing sentiment that the next true Crash Bandicoot will be announced soon, rumoured to release next year and be called Crash Bandicoot Worlds

Now leaked, the new game pitches itself as a direct sequel to the PS1 trilogy and has been handled by the same team as the remasters. It's set for full reveal on 22 June and is bound for Xbox One and PS4.

The fact that they've branded this Crash 4 implies that it will play pretty much the same way as the first three games. Which is not really that exciting, as structurally the 'run into the screen' gameplay is extremely dated.

Still, maybe it will be fun.

I really like the original Crash games, so I'm glad it's sticking to the same style. I look forward to seeing it in action.

Same, I love the first three Crash games. I don't really have any way to play this right now but I'll pick it up soon enough assuming it gets a PC release or runs on the PS5.

I'll play it but will 100% wait for the inevitable PC release next year when it can be picked up for cheaper. Nice but miles away from essential.

PS5, XSX and Switch versions of the game will launch on 12 March 2021. The PS4 and XBO versions will upgrade for free to the next-gen versions with compatible saves too whilst a PC version will launch sometime later in the year.
