After the previous epicness of gamage, it's time for week 36 can it match the previous outing by going exponential like the rising rate of Covid-19 or will it be more like the govermental lie of nothing to see here, go back to work?
Only time will tell, and the time for this week runs from 2nd Sept to the 8th - go infect that pile of shame

Tell Me Why - Xbox One
From Dontnod (Life is Strange, Before the Storm, Life is Strange 2) and along similar lines of their previous games in terms of gameplay. However, this time the story is loads better than the last awful effort of LiS2 and the whiney brat kid Daniel Diaz who really did just need drowning in the sea and if that didn't work burning with accelerant.
Thanksfully the characters Alyson and Tyler Ronan who are twins are much more interesting in this story and far less annoying. There's still the often pointless busy work in the game which does little to help move things along, but overall it's more LiS than LiS2, so I'd recommend taking a look if you enjoyed the first game. It's a three parter and the third part is out 9th Sept, so the gap between episodes has been very tight this time around.
I give it 8.5 menial tasks out of 10.

Half Life Alyx - PCVR
I can't decide whether this is a good game or a good game because of VR. I'm erring towards good game and not just because of the immersion VR provides, but there's definitely spades of atmosphere. As always with VR games, that extra depth of realism adds a lot to the experience with the grand sense of scale it presents.
I thought it would be more horror than it is, I suppose you kind of expect the jump scares so it doesn't have the same impact from that perspective, but no one needs to see that much detail in a head crab zombie.
It's probably not worth shelling out £919 on an Index for HLA alone, but it's worth seeking out the experience by other means if you can. I give it 9 distopias out of 10.
