    E3 2004

I am considering going to E3 this year, possibly next year, and I was wondering if anyone here knew what I needed to do to get in. Marcus said if press credentials were needed from this site, he could oblige me, but what more do I need to do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If it's as easy as ECTS to get in, a drunk homeless person could quite easily find a home for a few days in there.

Check the website, they'll tell you what you need.

Save your pennies a little longer and go to the Tokyo Game Show. Easy to get in and you wont find those sexy Japanese promo girls at E3

              Hmm?

Just yesterday my dad started to discuss E3 with me. He is actually prepared to pay for me to go to something like this? how he can possibly afford such a thing is beyond me, but it has got me incredibly interested finding out how to get there.

I suppose however, E3 is most definitely out of the equation? but? the Tokyo show seems more likely?

Hmm? need to find more info too

I'm hoping to go this year with my mate.

Asking my brother for details about getting in:
*First two days you'll get in as press fairly easily
Last day is open to anyone over 18, but is obviously very busy.

If you are planning on going to E3 then make sure you plan to do other things as well, as LA is a long way away just for a game show.*

When I went it wasn't easy to get it at all, despite having registered. When we arrived there my boss had to show tax documents to prove that the business was related to the games industry, which he had bloody left back in Dallas. Fortunately they took proof from copy posted on the net matched up to the names on our business cards. Although one of us was one of the behind-the-scenes admins and didn't have any copy on our sites, but with a bit of sweet taking we got his pass too.

Though I went a few years back so things have probably changed since.
