Got WAY too much of a games backlog on and WAY too little time to fully indulge the great moustachioed one this year...but I think that I can possibly have a quick play of the original SMB this evening, for old time's sake if nothing else.

Just gotta decide which format to play it on!

3D Mario = best Mario. I would like the next game to be a bigger, badder version of Odyssey, with more levels in interesting environments, space levels drawing on the Galaxy games, and an increase in the number of super hard challenge levels like the one at the very end of the game.

3D Land 2 or Galaxy 3

3D Land 2 would have gone great with the new Lite revision. Oh well.

Galaxy 3 all day but perhaps something that's more of a Super Mario Universe where you have more of the perspective of Odyssey rather than the often top down view of G1& 2 and really go to town with the warped spacial levels.

A 3D Land 2 spruced up and expanded for Switch would literally just be 3D World so easy pass
