    Sega Saturn classic 'Panzer Dragoon' is getting the VR treatment

    Well, that was unexpected. Out of nowhere, a relatively unknown game developer has announced a VR version of Panzer Dragoon, a beloved rail shooter franchise that started on the Sega Saturn in the mid-1990s. Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record will be a single-player experience that covers various episodes (the series' term for stages) from the original Saturn trilogy, according to a press release. Unsurprisingly, the game will use a first-person perspective, rather than the classic third-person view, and turn the player's VR controller into a handgun. There's no word on when it will come out, though, beyond "2020," or which platforms will be supported.


    A new Panzer Dragoon game has been confirmed for next year which will be a rail shooter played from a first person perspective. The subtitle of the game reveals the real purpose of the new game which is it being designed for VR with stages being based on guiding players through key levels and areas throughout the original game, Zwei and Panzer Dragoon Saga though for some reason Orta is not covered by the game.

        Yeah but what about the... what Junko said. It's weird to announce this when we seem to have silence on the previous Panzer Dragoon they announced.

          Lol, exactly what I thought guys! I was like, wait, did I miss something?

          It's cool that this has been announced though. Who would've thought Panzer Dragoon would be getting so much love in 2020?

          Maybe Burning Rangers is next for a remake

            Sounds ace and far better than the Switch crap .. Can't wait and hopefully yet more SEGA titles will go VR

                Apparently the Switch remake is still coming but seems to be later in the year closer to the remake of Zwei
