    It's on the playlist!

Probably won't be the next thing I play though. Might take a break for something modern.

Attritional boss battles where the only way to succeed is to trundle around until the ammo that you just piled into the bullet sponge boss respawns. I'm only playing it thru coz a mate offered me a lend, so I'll rinse it and send it back with thanks.

I enjoyed this more than you are, but it's one tenth of the game that 2 or Code Veronica are. The good news for you is, it's incredibly short!

^ I think I'm on the last bit. Just did another lap of the hospital with a different character, and now popping into yet another section of underground tunnels.

Posting in advance: I'm going to be playing Metroid Prime Remastered all of next week from tomorrow.

I know it looks great, but I hope they've done just as good a job with the audio.

        I've got excite.

There's no way MP should be running this well on the Switch. It could easily pass as something running on follow-up hardware.

Heard nothing but the highest praise. Looking forward to giving it a go myself.

I’m a few upgrades in and it’s quite clearly safe to say that the series has been put back in good hands. I have extremely high hopes for 4 now.

I’ve tried all of the controls and I found ‘Pointer’ preset on a very high sensitivity to be the best by far. Right trigger locks your view point directly forward, left trigger soft locks onto enemies (enabling you to manually point at something different), and both triggers at the same time give you the traditional hard lock, meaning shots don’t miss. It’s perfect. Dual stick control is sloppy in comparison.

After completing Metroid Prime Remaster, I felt like replaying Metroid Fusion, and I completed yesterday. So my lunchbreak game has become Atelier Ryza 2. My main focus is Phantom Bridage though, and a bit of Flight Simulator in the weekend. So many bridges to fly under.

Akka Arrh. On and off. Which gets more puzzley, rich, delightful and surprising the deeper you go.

Nioh 2 - still loving it despite the rage!

Also gave Battlefield 2042 a go as it is free - still has the garbage operators, you have to go crossplay to get a game and put up with laser KB+M (even then there are still AI bots and I fully realise that I am in a very bad timezone BUT I've never seen such a low player count on any Battlefield game down here), it's fun in parts though a long long way from a great battlefield experience. Some truly baffling choices from the devs on this. Why boot everyone out of the match EVERY SINGLE TIME? Why no server browser (except on Portal)? SMFH.

I'll play it for a laugh from time to time as it is free and it somewhat scratches a large scale multiplayer shooter itch.

Arkham Asylum. Never played one of these batman games, but steam has then at a come and get me price.
Yeah I'm enjoying it. The controls are a little clunky but it's good so far.

I decided to give Persona 5 Royal a decent try the last few weeks. I'm about 10 hours in now and I've cleared the first castle but I think it is going to take some time to get used to the gameplay loop. The time pressure is making me second guess every decision I've made so far. lol

Once you get a little further in it's worth reading up on the requirements for the true ending, as you miss a loooot of content if you aren't on course for it and don't have certain things lined up. I missed a dungeon in P4G in a similar manner and nearly made the same mistake (with bigger consequences!) with P5R, thankfully I checked just in time!

Finished with Gran Turismo 7 now, so I've started A Space for the Unbound. Two chapters in and I'm liking it a lot - it's a very chilled, relaxing thing to play, but there's also a bit more actual gameplay than I was expecting too. Story's starting to pick up too, so I'm keen to see where the next few sessions take me.

Also doing the odd level in Pizza Tower every now and again. It's very good, and more people should be playing it.
