I'll be honest, there's a lot to take in on that screenshot!

I'm playing Skyrim (PS4) still. Done some bigger missions so people keep offering to let me buy a house in town, but I'm enjoying stumbling onto missions.
One guy said his house was haunted, with lead to this ace haunted house mission.

Was on my way to off a giant for a bounty and was discovering locations enroute. Found a shack but heard talking downstairs. Took out a bandit but it felt like there was more to the house. Found a secret button and the bookshelf opened up, revealing a passageway to the base of highway bandits!

I finished The Frog For Whom The Bell Tolls. Really fun little game although I was kind of ready for it to be done at the very end. Great how it was consistently humorous throughout and the fan translation was excellent. The platforming sections could be a mite dodgy and unresponsive at times, though. Overall a very interesting title and a relaxing playthrough.

Finally caved-in to my son's pressuring and tried Marvel Rivals. We were big fans of the original Overwatch before that game got deleted from existence and replaced with the inferior F2P sequel, so kind of had an eye on this. I gotta say, it's good! The level of polish throughout the whole production is exceptional. UI is great with a good amount of info. and feedback. Characters are diverse, well animated and refreshingly silly realisations of their Marvel archetypes that are a blast to play, and the maps are vibrant, colourful, nicely laid out and full of Easter eggs. Some environmental destructibility adds a sprinkling more strategy. Good shout outs from characters that clearly let you know what's going on, but also a simple ping system if you need it. Monetisation - currently - is not too obnoxiously rammed down your throat.

Golgo, my son is playing that and really enjoying it.
They've just added Mr. Fantastic (Say me fantastic touch me on the back, She says I'm Mr. Ro.......Mantic) and Sue Storm, so he's enjoyed playing those characters.
He was using Moon Knight a lot, but seems to have switched to Magik, to take out the healers, so the tanks die easier.

          Sounds like it's fairly tactical.

^ About as tactical as a game featuring a squirrel girl, a Norse God, a walking tree, and a rubberised man can be.

LOL oh my goodness. Just reached chapter 23 and it's about to play a cutscene and it brings up a warning saying that it's 30 mins long would i like to skip it. How thoughtful but no i'm too invested in the story looks like i'm about to watch a mini movie

EDIT: managed to complete the main story the game had me guessing right to the end where the story was going to go as it gets crazy. Weirdly when it's over it plonks you back into the main game with the hint of more stuff by telling you to prepare for the next battle as it's not over. There's a lot of anime cutscenes in this game as well as full blown songs the games presentation is super high not to mention the amount of upgrade mechanics going on is crazy there's so much to play around with. Now back to grinding my parts as i start trying to go for the iconic rarity stuff to build the robot of my dreams there's a lot of tough missions still to go through as been able to play through any of the ones i did on story mode. Also a load of side stories to complete too i'll be a while yet with it passed 50 hours so far.

Towards the end they even go full kaiju on you, i mean the regular bosses are big but these are ridiculous lol
I have been swaying towards the PS5 version, but how does the Switch one play?

switch version runs pretty fast and fluid I didn’t notice any glaring frame drops while fighting I think it’s running at 30fps maybe a few times where it Dipped a tiny amount due to the massive kaiju bosses or when the screen was full of bullets and enemies but in general looks and plays great. Ps5 version will have probably 60fps as well as nicer lighting and textures but even switch manages to keep some reflections on your robot so it’s not a gimped port.

Go with whatever's cheaper. Either way it’s a fun game, tempted to max everything out post game as the upgrading is super in depth. Only thing that’s a shame is the online colosseum part of the game didn’t find any players when I was looking for matches on switch version no idea if it’s not that active or people only go online on certain times a lot of switch games the online becomes a ghost town a few weeks after launch.

I've played a wee bit of a game I got for free from Prime Gaming for Epic store called Eastern Exorcist. It's actually pretty cool so far. Side scrolling hack/slash souls like set in mythical China. Pretty good for a freebie.

                    Skyrim

                    - find these three necklaces.
                    - find first two necklaces, third is in a locked mine, unlocked in a wizard school mission.
                    - join Hogwarts and do the first few missions until we go on a school trip to the locked mine.
                    - find the third necklace.
                    - no information on what next (thank you internet for the location)
                    - find a floaty globe in the cave and asked to report to Hogwarts.
                    - Dumbledore tells me to ask someone else for info on the floaty globe.
                    - next person won't tell me until I get him 3 books.
                    - have to do a mission to complete the mission for completing the mission that I needed to complete another mission.

I love it, but it's hilarious.

                      NS - Matchbox Driving Adventure
It's not great but it seems to be short so there's that

                      PS5 - Infinity Nikki
For a F2P game it's actually surprisingly compelling. I'm apparently 22% through it so far, it's very chill with fetch questing and light platforming being the focus and so far it seems to have enough mechanisms to make passive players not have to get bogged down on the terms and cluttered menus. The dress system doesn't get in the way of progression either and considering they will only make money via DLC etc it hasn't pushed the store on me yet either so as something to just chill to it's hard ot knock it too much so far outside of how basic the gameplay is.

Antonblast. Warioland meets Nickelodeon and alcoholism. It's not bad.

It's short so sticking with it, figured it would focus more on jump platforming but it's basically nothing more than QTE's

                          PS5 - Infinity Nikki
A week on and I'm now at 66% complete, good steady progress

Played some Skyrim, but a mission I'm on is broken.
I'm supposed to go into a dungeon and retrieve something behind a magically locked door, but the story is that there's a ghost there that helps you, but he just stands there like a spooky lemon looking at you, rather than opening the bloody door. Not sure if I'll be able to finish it.

After playing Guitar Hero Arcade at Retro Realm at the weekend, my son's been bitten by the bug and I found him playing Guitar Hero II last night!

It's been pretty robust (they've had enough bloody time to fix it!), but on my way to this cave, the danger music started and some bandits had started attacking a giant and his two mammoths.

The problem is that the mammoth squad were slowly raising into the sky!
The bandits were running in circles as they watched them float away like a mastodon version of "Up".
Took a snap as it was really funny.

I think it's buggered my quest though.
