Halfway through The Medium, it's been running absolutely fine on my PC to be honest. Very few issues with it. As a game though it's stunningly mediocre.

More GTA Online.
Can't help but think they've broken the game a little with the big payouts from the Cayo Perico heist.
I've bought a nightclub, motorcycle gang base, gunrunning bunker, weed farm and coke plant, but none of them pay out the same as doing a 1 hour CP run.
Bought some new toys though, including the Stromberg submarine car and the Oppressor Mk II flying bike.
Mainly used by griefers, but it's a great way to zip about the map.
I can feel the addiction to this waning a bit now. My mates hammered it Dec/Jan doing all the stuff I said at the start months ago, so they feel they've rinsed it a bit and things were getting repetitive.
We'll probably do some more missions specific to vehicles then call it a day.
I'm still enjoying playing it with a few hoodlums on here, though!

I've clocked over a dozen hours on Destruction All-Stars.
I love it! Yes, there's no real progression other than earning currency to unlock cosmetics but it is exactly what I need, mentally, right now. Headphones on, brain off entertainment.
Also been doing some GTA Online and it's great but, by God, are there some archaic design decisions and clunky aspects that Rockstar really need to sort out from a gameplay and QoL perspective.

I have been playing Haven on Switch, although I think it's probably available for most other platforms. You play a couple in love alone on a planet having escaped your home, where society matches you with your perfect mate. The planet is made up of little islands and you can zoom around them using energy called flow. You clear them of icky red rust and help the local wildlife and stuff and then stuff is uncovered as you look for parts to repair your ship.
Between the trips around the islands, you hang out in your ship home and cook and eat and take showers and there are lots of funny and suggestive dialogues between the two main characters. The suggestions get a bit naughty but it's all kept relatively clean.
It's a nice game. There isn't a huge amount to it yet but the islands are lovely and it feels good flying around them. Where I am, the story is starting to build now and it's getting pretty interesting. The soundtrack is by Danger and it adds a huge amount to the atmosphere. It feels quite unique. I'm enjoying it.

EDF 5, managed to do the last level on Inferno though I've still got a few more to do.
Been watching some blokes vids on YouTube - not something I do gaming wise I'd rather sort it out myself, anyway I couldn't believe the lack of damage he was taking and this was on level 104, must have been playing the PC version and had some mod going on.

My honeymoon period with CoD may be coming to an end ... I wanted to settle into something slower paced and single-player last night and after playing through God Of War for the first time recently I thought I'd plunder PS5s PS Plus lineup and gave Days Gone a go. I already know the journey this game has been on and it does straight away feel polished and refined. It ticks many of the boxes I like to be ticked in a game too, giving you plenty to do and build on and it's got a great atmosphere. The games it draws on it does so smartly, mixing Last of Us, Resi, Ubi-world progression, it all works together really well.
I think it's great added value to the new console to not only have Astro's Playroom but also a bunch of greatest hits for Plus subbers, some making great use of the new hardware.
Still enjoying Pikmin 3 too. The end of a productive day collecting things, smashing things and building things still feels great.

Monday night co-op night and my friends and I did another great GTA Online mission together.
We had to raid a laboratory together, but two went in with night scopes, I flew da choppah and my mate was on the minigun. Love the ones where you have different tasks to complete.
It was pretty tricky taking out the pursuing helicopters, but we managed it after a couple of tries, circling them and dodging their missiles.
Did another one afterwards where you disrupt a drug deal, go to a manufacturing plant, then head to the airport and try to stop the escaping drug lord as his plane takes off. This took a few goes, but in the end, I spawned on the hangar roof as he took off and used a rocket launcher to take his plane out.
After my (more sensible than me) mates went to bed, I did a couple of Casino missions with some randos, that was also fun!
Took the boss to a vineyard with a meeting with some Texans, but obviously things go South and we had to shoot our way out.

Been finishing up on backlog stuff, finally completed links awakening on switch along with been at the final boss in paper mario origami king, actually ended up really enjoying that one despite some of the boss battles been very much trial & error as they need to be done in very specific ways more like a puzzle game than an rpg one. Also finished mario 3D world but not unlocked everything yet still going through the extra post game world and about a 3rd of the way through bowsers fury so far.
