I’m also playing Arkham City, having finished Arkham Asylum over the weekend.

I don’t have a cool son to watch me playing it, but I am able to play it on the bog.

In fact, most of my Asylum play through was on the bog

It’s my first time playing these games and they’re wicked fun.

Batman is an absolute unit.

Apparently Arkham Knight’s performance on Steam Deck is whack so I’m not looking forward to that one.

Amazing! Can't believe you're skipping the Riddler trophies, though - they're a lot of fun.
I particularly like the perspective ones.
There's one that was driving me crazy trying work out how to get the dot at the bottom of the question mark. When I sussed it, it was joyous!
There's a lot of lore in there too, referencing loads of characters.

I'm deffo rinsing this and will look at all the extras after completing it, like the Catwoman missions.

I've finally been giving the Silent Hill 2 remake the time it deserves. Each area / otherworld can feel slightly overlong but the narrative has enough hooks in to keep me going forward. It's one of the few games where I enjoy the cutscenes as much as playing. I still prefer the overall look and sound of the original (never tough enough to finish it bitd though) but I think Bloober Team have done a decent job overall.

Promise Mascot Agency on Switch. Brilliant fun and hilariously funny and wrong. Characters and voice acting are wonderful and the rundown cursed town of Kaso-Machi is a pleasure to explore.

Split Fiction - Stalled as it's difficult getting the big screen but we're around a fifth of the way through currently

Until Dawn - The remake, playing it through with the missus as she loves horror and almost never games so can get an easy handle of this

Assassins Creed: Mirage - Already proving difficult to stick with, this is the old school entry which looks fairly dated and plays it too. Amazes me AC is still so popular when so much of it is substandard

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Finally started the Definitive Edition on PS5

Sonic X Shadow Generations
I wasn't feeling the Sonic levels, but the Shadow levels are great — just really fun to play through again and again.

Arkham City (PS4) - I've finished the main story, but it's put me back as Catwoman for some extra bits and I'm trying to mop up a few more Riddler trophies as her, then I'm hoping the main game will let me continue in Gotham to mop up a bit more of the main Riddler trophies as Batman.

I've really enjoyed it and love the Metroidvania structure, plus the excellent combat that makes you feel like you're a total badass but without needing PlatinumGames levels of dexterity and reaction times.

Feels great zooming over the city.

Spent the entire weekend playing the last of us part two on PC. What a rollercoaster!
