Well, here we are enjoying possibly the greatest period in gaming for catching up with your backlog ever. Belatedly, thanks to shifting dates and so much being unclear, here's the next installment in Anticipating


May and June 2020

Adding anything that's missing from the list, what are you looking to pick up in the next two months leading us into Summer?

Slim pickings there. Given my backlog of unplayed games that's probably not a bad thing.

XCOM®: Chimera Squad is out today, so that might be a purchase once the reviews come in positively (so could be a May purchase).

[Nu-Eclipse]

Only Xenoblade Chronicles DE is of any interest to me - I've got a pre-order for the LE set coming from NUKS next month. Never got around to playing the Wii original or the 3DS port so looking forward to that.

Otherwise, nothing else on the list is of any interest.

Ghost of Tsushima.

Although I read sewhere that it may be delayed until 1st August and the 26th June would be given to The Last of Us Part 2.

We shall see.

Yooooo, Desperados III? I kind of want to get that. I had a lot of fun with the first game back in the day. Hard as balls though.

Also, yeah, I'm definitely buying Pod Racer for the 4th time.
