Moguri Mod: FFIX fan remaster

A group of dedicated fans are remastering the Steam version of Final Fantasy IX.
The remaster upscales existing graphics with AI, and incorporates several QoL improvements both in-game and in the game launcher.
I posted this here and not in the retro forums because the remaster needs the recent Steam release of the game to work.

Oooh, is that easy to do? Like can you just "turn it on"? I've never played IX.

Saw someone stream the game with this mod and wasn't a fan of the new music otherwise it's pretty good. Crazy that they shipped the recent PS4 version with the worse than original textures from the mobile game. They really should be adopting the AI upscaling themselves and done a better job of it.

Not really a mod for me, but I'm glad someone else noticed how gross the font is on the remaster Square Enix put out...

You can select to use an orchestral soundtrack or stick with the original ps1 music. Its all selectable via a menu before you boot up the game.

Ita a very impressive mod and well worth using with the PC version. I've got it installed and ready to go for my next playthrough.
