Life Changes since PS4/Xbox One launch

Messed my life up big style twice. Went from £25k in savings to minus £8k. Super, smashing, lovely. Had about five relationships but I'm still looking for someone with the brainal density to match my own.

Changed jobs to make more money to pay my debts but instead started becoming a miserable misanthrope.

Switched from dealing with knob-ends and snooty twats in A&E to the bins and seem to be building my life and happiness back up again.

Nowt wrong with a bit o' bin, as we say. And I love my Xbox, I really do.

I moved house and sold all my arcade cabs because they didn’t fit in the new house! Should have bought a bigger house tbh.

For me:
Got promoted at Work
My sister/brother in law + kids moved to USA (very close to them)
I visited the USA 9 times (8 times to see family once to go to Vegas)
I was a torch bearer for the Winter Olympics in S. Korea
I went to Cuba
Got a PSVR and got really into it (and still am)
Gained a new niece and 2 nephews
Got made redundant this year (though Covid wasn't actually the cause)
Got a new job
Had a stroke at age 29
Had to resign from said new job

Pretty rough year in 2020 but onwards and upwards to better things

Moved the PS4 from a shelf under the TV to a cabinet at the side.
