    Control 2

Remedy has signed a new deal with 505 Games which will see them work on a multiplayer title as well as a bigger budget follow up to Control. The game is now in early stages of development.

Cannot wait. Loved Control and the coop game they're talking about could be fantastic. I love the combat in Remedy games and the arenas and enemies they had in Control would make for a good coop romp.

I really enjoyed Control. I loved finding out about the world and the lore, in a way that's not force fed to you. I had to just piece it all together myself, just like the main character would.
      Want more.

Great stuff. I'm all for more Control. Glad it wasn't just a one-off.

Control 2 has now entered full production. Remedy has also confirmed that they plan on continuing to develop Control and Alan Wake titles but will self-publish future titles.
Their remakes of Max Payne 1 & 2 are also continuing in production.

From 2026 the studio should have enough staff freed up to move onto setting up a new project, being able to develop three at a time. Wild guess but given the hoped for multimedia push and earlier references for their IP I'd expect that's when Alan Wake III will enter the first stages.

Firebreak at least looks like it have fun missions based on that trailer, but we have deluge PVE to pick from so it'll have to be cheap to complete. At least they are not making the mistake of keeping this locked to the Epic Store like they did with AW2 for a long time.

                        Indeed it does.
AW2 is never coming to steam Tim confirmed this several times to my knowledge.

Had a check, I know it's going to launch on Game Pass and PS Plus Extra. They're referred to it as a mid-range title so it's been spit-balled at being around £30-£40 to buy. They seem set up to do well and if anything saves it it will be that it looks Control based rather than Alan Wake but it seems like a borderline risky project.

I would imagine that Remedy will do with AW2 what they effectively did with the first game, wait until they're in a position to buy out the publishing rights and make it a belated release - like a Remastered version down the line. They're moving to self-publishing so for future games it should be less of an issue and make it easier for them to make their money back. Firebreak is their first proper self-published game and is coming to Steam. I wonder if they'll ever complete the set by nabbing Quantum Break back as well, it was the second most successful new IP for MS on Xbox One (not the highest bar) but MS has no interest in it though AW2 references it.

I hope so, from what I`ve seen it looks a good game
