I've become jaded after seeing so many "Windows running on an iPhone!!!!!" videos(just remote desktop/VNC) and "Flight Sim playable on Xbox One!(via cloud streaming)" so I just thought it was the same thing here.

2 months apparently, not too bad. If it was like a year it wouldn’t be worth releasing as everything would of moved on so quickly.

Seen the email and Steam has already amended its listing so now mine says After Quarter 2... so... that'd be Quarter 3 then.

To ease any concerns Valve has confirmed that the February first wave launch is still on track

That’ll be 20 units for streamers in feb then and Christmas for actual paying customers.

Or it'll be orders fulfilled in reservation order exactly as stated on the blog, exactly the same way they did for Index and mine in Q1 2022 as is shown on the pre-order.

Great... even though I'm at the back of the queue it means we should get a lot more real hands-on impressions. This will help me decide whether I want to keep my order or not.

Same here. I'm in the July 2022 onward batch of orders so there's a long time to see how this stacks up. If it's at all troubled in terms of technical issues or not being too capable beyond other options then I'll cancel as it's an expensive layout but hopefully it meets the preview indicators.

I'm confident it'll be great but like you say there's every chance it'll go through a lot of teething issues and I'm not sure I want to be an early adopter if they are many.

I'll sit and wait a year if that's the case and see how things develop.

I'm dying for mine. Can't wait for it. This is one thing I'm happy to be an early adopter on. I really hope the release doesn't slip any further.

What this thing is capable of blows me away. Horizon Zero Dawn and Detroit on a handheld is just bonkers.

I haven't ordered one myself but I'm looking forward to people on here's impressions of theirs
