Good news about Burnout 3 (though it was a given really), but I'd like to see a press release before I believe EA are publishing it. The bit about Burnout 3 being "basically finished" but then EA got your mates to play Burnout 2 seems to whiff of **** a bit.

hmmm, I know, apparently it's too top secret for them to actually 'play' it! Oooooh...only videos for you then...

Shouldnt they be under an NDA seeing as EA havent made a press release of this yet?

well, just don't call the police, eh?
This is definately legit, and they weren't really supposed to tell anyone, but you know how it goes....maybe I shouldn't have posted this

We need a really good arcade racer online...

Mmmm... Burnout 3 or Ridge Racer 6...

                How about:

                "Need For Speed: Burnout"

I remain sceptical about Live and Burnout together. Every previous attempt at hooking road racers up to Live has meant either traffic removal (Midtown Madness series, for example), or just scoreboard support (Burnout 2, Ford Racing 2).

I'd have thought that keeping the amount of traffic in sync as well as what all the player cars are doing would lag too much.

My brother and I were playing B2 heavily over the holidays there. We both heartily agreed on one addition we'd like to see in Burnout 3, and that is 'people.' Little drivers and passengers in all the cars, who can be ejected majestically through windshields given the right "accident." This would reap the handsomest rewards when involving a bus in one such "accident" during Crash mode. Thirty people knocked out of their seats, the driver face down in the road, perhaps some folks hanging out of windows or otherwise tragically mangled amongst the wreckage. My custom soundtrack would mournfully pour out Albinoni's Adagio while the scene was portrayed in slow motion from the helicopter's godly perspective.

Naturally I'd take full Havok 2 ragdoll on these peeps if given the choice.

Oh, and licensed cars, at last.

                    Live? Meh.

Well The Daily Mail will love that

                      (sounds great though IMO)

As long as this doesn't get EA'd-up during development (patent pending on that derogatory comment btw ) this should be an absolute stunner if it's even half as good as Burnout 2. Any idea on release date or when we'll see screens/movies?

                      Bring. It. On!

Maybe, but if PGR2 can handle eight players pretty seemlessly, maybe BO3 could handle four players plus the AI?

Let's hope they take out the predictable traffic patterns that defaced the previous two games' difficulty.
