It's gone from a marketing questionnaire to THIS IS DEFINITELY HAPPENING in about 38 seconds.
Doesn't stop me from wanting this to happen, but let's keep the hype train under control!

I thought the same thing, that it's good that it's even a pipe dream after 10 years of silence and people are talking about it.
Apart from those people suggesting it should play exactly like Souls but with mecha...
Actually, I was playing one of the souls games and battling some hideous demons on the roof of a cathedral and I was thinking how beautiful the game is, but it's a shame that FROM use their energies on making all these ugly monsters and it'd be great if they turned their hand to something else, like robots or something.
Then the penny dropped!

Great news.
And yeah, I think it's undoubtedly the case that some elements of Souls will be appear in this future AC. From basically created an entire subgenre. I wouldn't want AC to be literally DS with mechs, but definitely the design philosophy that makes DS such a thrilling experience should be present. Consequences for actions, basically.Comment

I think it's the suggestion of a literal transplanting of the controls from one game to the other like it's Souls reskinned with mecha is the turn off for me. I think implementing ideas they've learned in the last decade of game making is a great idea.

I've only ever played one entry, which I think was AC2: Another Age. To be honest it didn't fully click with me but I don't think I gave it enough time. I'd 1000% be in for a new one, though. I was a real latecomer to Souls for whatever reason. It wasn't until a mate bought me Dark Souls 3 that I finally tried it, but it blew me away. From are one of my favourite devs now.Comment

Couple of things I want...
Loads of customisation for the mech. I loved making a tricked out mech.
Mech damage. The mech needs to look like its been chewed up by the end of a mission.Comment
