It might be the shortest month but February has somehow found itself carrying multiple notable releases on its shoulders with some bound to be new year winners and some losers. Either way we look at the potential for an expensive start to 2022 so from the releases set to come out, which are you...

Nothing for me in Feb. I know Elden Ring is getting a lot of hype, but I don't think it's for me. KoF XV would normally have been a day one for me, but I don't like where the funding for it has come from.

Horizon is the clear one for me.

I'll take a look at Dying Light 2 but I always found the first to be hugely overrated and for all its delays this looks like more of the same so I'm not sold on it currently. Same for Elden Ring, I'm tired of retrying the Souls style games so it's only slightly on my radar largely because of the open world element. I'd normally be in on KOF but XV is coming across as too much like XIV for me to dive in fast

Plenty in Feb to be interested in for me.

Couple of tentatives as although I do enjoy the TW games, I'm really not sure if there's enough new stuff for TW: Warhammer 3 to justify a day 1 purchase. It's going to Game Pass PC, so that's not really an issue mind.

LiS Remaster is something I want to play after having completed True Colors, but again it's not a day 1 must buy.

Forbidden West & Elden Ring are the front runners and of course, shipping willing, Steam Deck.

Elden Ring. I’ve preordered it and everything. I love Souls

Nothing for me... I'm currently playing Horizon Zero Dawn for the first time but I will not pay £70 for a game on release so I'll be looking at the sequel some time later in the year.

I’m a huge Life is Strange fan, so I am looking forward to replaying the first two games in a more polished form, come February… Although, lack of much update / information around the physical release of this game recently, has me a bit worried…

Elden Ring is also on the agenda, so it will be an entertaining month…

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Life Is Strange remasters. My Steam Deck is expected Q2 so not Feb for me. Not sure what kind of magic it took to get earlier than that.

It absolutely sucks, especially knowing that Metal Slug Tactics is on the horizon.

Fair play, there's a fair bit to get excited about there!

Token Ethernet Ring, Life is Strange, Steamy Poop Deck, Horizon, OlliverOlliver and Dying for a Light.

However, my top pick is Sifu.

I like the idea of getting older and more skilled each time to try again, plus the combat is looking pretty good, thankfully!

Magic Bouncing Horse is a possible for me, although I'm not 100% sold on the shift to open world. Will wait for reviews.
