Him being a footballer makes him an odd choice, him being a self-confessed rapist is the real line to cross. I've just read that both SNK and CR are funded by the same Saudi group so that explains that scenario very quicklyComment

He spent a fortune for years surpressing the story as well, and on other accusers, with the case falling through due to the manner in which the documents were attained.
He's on the dog pile of celebs who get the magic free pass just because it suits their fans.
The main thing is it's hard to imagine that SNK were all that keen on the idea, it's so oddball a crossover for the franchise it reeks of Saudi PR stunt for them. Maybe not, but it'll be interesting to see if more of their games moving forward get these ill suited shoehorn stunts.Comment

In essence the documents from the leak are the admission, CR spent a solid decade surpressing the story and two other women also (though due to the documents and how far the case progressed this one gained the most traction). His lawyers have argued throughout that the documents are either amended or fake but they became central to the prosecution case for years so I suppose it's down to how much you weigh that the authorities believed in their credibility to entertain them for so long. The lawsuit fell through ultimately, not because of the content but because they were attained via someone who had hacked the information to leak it so the judge wouldn't permit the case to proceed.

She's been attempting to appeal the decision. In either case, it's certainly a choice of a cross over for a type of game where you technically attack female characters. It's not like there aren't enough football games

I missed this at the time, but Ken and Chun-Li are going to be in the new Garou game. With SNK characters popping up in Street Fighter as well, I wonder if it's any more likely that we'll actually see CVS 4?Comment
